Badiya Wool at the Avantex ReSources Podium with TCBL - Paris, September 2025

Badiya Wool is preparing to take the Avantex ReSources Podium at Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris, which will be held from September 15 to 17, 2025 at Paris–Le Bourget. This global platform brings together industry leaders, innovators, and visionaries shaping the future of textiles through sustainability, circularity, and technology.

Our participation is made possible through the TCBL (Textile & Clothing Business Labs) network, a community driving systemic change in the textile industry by promoting circular fashion, eco-innovation, and local impact. Being part of this network connects Badiya Wool with international initiatives that align heritage craftsmanship with the future of sustainable textiles.

The Avantex ReSources Podium is a space dedicated to exploring sustainable solutions and innovative practices in fashion and textiles. For Badiya Wool, it offers an opportunity to share a story that begins in Jordan’s Badiya, where raw wool—once seen as waste—is transformed into a sustainable resource for designers and artisans.

At the podium, we will highlight three key aspects of our work:

  • Sustainability: building a circular economy by saving wool from landfills and developing eco-friendly processing methods.
  • Cultural heritage: preserving Bedouin traditions of weaving and natural dyeing, while empowering women artisans across Jordan.
  • Global innovation: connecting local resources with international design communities and contributing to responsible sourcing in fashion.

Our participation at Avantex September 2025 places Badiya Wool within an international conversation on the future of textiles—where tradition and innovation meet to address the challenges of waste, resource use, and cultural preservation.

We look forward to sharing our vision at the Avantex ReSources Podium and to building new collaborations that carry Jordan’s wool heritage from the Badiya to the world.
